Hi Stephan. Good luck with the book. Where did you get your inspiration to write it, and is the town based on a real place
My inspiration came from working, living and in an earthquake ravaged city. I found it almost impossible to paint beautiful pictures whilst surrounded by so much hurt and suffering, so I decided to help. I became a volunteer almost full time for three years and visited thousands of people in their destroyed houses. Being too compassionate I soon found I needed an outlet for my emotions to keep me sane, so took to something I had always wanted to do, writing a book. I used my imagination to its full, along with my artwork and love of all thing mechanical, combined with my passion for nature to create something unique and very special. I have used all of my life experiences and many of the injustices I have witnessed, along with some of the most beautiful, loving People I have ever met, and on and on I go.
And yes the book is loosely based on my home town of Cheltenham in Gloucestershire, and my home town here in Christchurch NZ.
Thanks for your question, sorry for rambling on a bit.
Look forward to joining the adventure and exploring .....
Every success hope it takes off and flies further than the clockwork plane!
You should try flying a clockwork plane fitted with a Spiral Drive, Wow, power!
